POS Set-up

A complete walkthrough for installers and merchants — from unboxing to accepting first USDC payment.

INSTALLER & MERCHANT SETUP GUIDE

Step 1 — Power On & Prepare

Power On & Prepare the Terminal

• Open the POS back cover and insert the Authorization Card into the PSAM/SIM slot
• Insert a SIM card (skip this step if you plan to use WiFi)
• Press the power button on the right side to turn the device on
• Using WiFi? Go to Settings and add your network\ .png>)

Step 2 — Configure Addresses

Set up Withdraw / Reward Addresses

• Connect to Wi-Fi (if no SIM card is inserted)
  
  

  

Option A — No Installer

If you are setting up the POS for your own business:

• Scan or manually enter the Merchant Withdrawal Address (where the merchant's USDC will be sent).
• Leave Earn a cut of every transaction unchecked.

• Tap Confirm to complete setup.
  
  

  

Option B — With Installer

If an Installer is setting up the POS for a merchant:

• Check Earn a cut of every transaction.
• Scan or manually enter the Installer Reward Address (where the installer's service fees will be sent).
• Enter the Installer Fee (percentage charged on each transaction).

• Tap Confirm to complete setup.
  
  

  

Important: Double-check both addresses before confirming. Once set, these addresses cannot be changed. Any error will result in funds being sent to the wrong wallet.\

Step 3 — Activate Payment Cards

Activate the PAYDAO Payment Cards

• On the PAYDAO POS application interface, tap ⋮ (menu) → Activate Card
• Hold the Payment Card to the NFC area on the terminal for a few seconds
• Wait for the confirmation message: "Card initialization successful"

• Tap Activate Another Card to repeat for additional cards
  
  

  

Important: Payment Cards must be activated on the POS Terminal before they can be used for payments. Unactivated cards will not work.\

MERCHANT + USER — PAYMENT FLOW

Step 4 — Make a Payment

Accept a Payment at the POS Terminal

• On the PAYDAO POS interface, enter the payment amount → tap Pay
• Ask the customer to hold their Payment Card to the NFC area
• After the confirmation beep, remove the card and wait for the payment success screen

Note: If the network is congested, confirmation may take longer than usual. Please wait and avoid cancelling or repeating the transaction.

MERCHANT — SETTLEMENT

Step 5 — Merchant Withdrawal

Withdraw Funds to Your Wallet

• On the PAYDAO POS interface, tap ⋮ (menu) → Withdraw
• Enter a specific amount, or choose to withdraw all available funds
• Funds are sent directly to your preset Merchant Withdrawal Address
